The record is currently being pressed and should be available for sale by the end of summer. It features two stompers that are sure to get you salivating for the next Dimples LP, which is currently being recorded:

Submitted by HSR on February 19, 2010 - 1:37pmMany people have contacted us asking how to obtain more Dimples songs. The band has only released the Council Bluffs LP. However, you can purchase additional tracks through online retailers such as iTUNES, Amazon, and Napster. The digital version of Council Bluffs includes two bonus tracks: Deep Analyst was one of several tracks that was recorded during the Council Bluffs sessions but was clipped from the album's final tracklist.
DIMPLES RECORD SINGLE WITH GREG ASHLEY
Submitted by HSR on February 12, 2010 - 6:06pmDimples recently completed recording a new single to follow up their debut Council Bluffs LP. The sessions were recorded by Greg Ashley (Gris Gris) at his Oakland, CA studio. The new material will likely be released as a seven inch or EP this summer.

"Council Bluffs is like a wild, basement level Exile on Main Street. Saxophones freakout and wail, guitars switch from cleanly overdriven to ratty $2 fuzz box feedback, and the whole thing takes on this air of desperation, teetering on the edge of sliding out of tune."
